South Pacific
The Crimson Company would like to invite you to see this year's spring show
Set in an island paradise on the outskirts of the Pacific Theater of World War II, South Pacific is a tale of love threatened by the dangers of prejudice and war.

Based on James Michener’s Pulitzer Prize winning stories, the show features some of Rogers and Hammerstein’s greatest songs like, Some Enchanted Evening, There is Nothing Like a Dame, and Bali Ha’i

2015 marks sixty years since the end of World War II.
This show is a salute to that greatest generation that fought that war.
We chose the show because it is important our students know the sacrifices their grandparents and great-grandparents made securing our freedom.

SOUTH PACIFIC will run for six performances.
    Thu. 12 March.
Fri.  13 March. (Note there is no show on Sat. 14 March)
    Wed.18 March
    Thu. 19 March
    Fri. 20 March
    Sat. 21 March

All at 7:00 in the DHS Auditorium.

Thank you in advance for your support of The Crimson Company Drama Club,
Sincerely,
Mr. McGurl

Below is a picture of our centerpiece for the Marley's Mission Blue Ribbon Gala (Marley's Mission is a nonprofit organization that provides free equine-assisted psychotherapy to children who have experienced trauma). Each year they ask schools to get students to volunteer to make centerpieces for their fundraiser.  Mr. Farris and Mrs. Hogan help the students with their creation.  Mrs. Hogan's students that volunteered to help this year were: Zachary Seamon, Jake Orazi, Kate Genovese, Alexis Tropeano, Angelica Plappert and Sarah Close 11th grade and Manny Aguilar and Chris Lowe 12th grade.
Also juniors Kate Adams, Brooke Jennings, Joanna Murray, and Alexis Tropeano, and seniors Shandon Black, Matthew Nealon, and Meghan Natalie won Certificates of Merit in the Scholastic Art Awards.  The awards ceremony is Saturday February 7th at 1:00 and Marywood University.
