District Announcements
Burn Book
The following is a message from the Dunmore School Board and Dunmore School District Administration.

A new computer app known as Burn Book contains anonymous, defamatory and inappropriate statements about students and members of the Dunmore School District community. The District strongly condemns these posts and comments and encourages students and parents not to use this site.

Additionally, these posts are inconsistent with the Dunmore School Districtís Anti-discrimination and Harassment Policy, and our Anti-Cyber and Bullying Policy.

Please take some time to speak with your children regarding appropriate on-line behavior, and please keep in mind the vision of the Dunmore School District is to foster a safe learning environment conducive to the development of the academic, social, cultural and physical needs of the students.
Jog for Jude
Jog For Jude- Sunday, April 19th
The inaugural Jog for Jude, held in memory of Jude Zayac who suddenly and tragically passed away on July 23, 2014 from S.I.D.S. (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome), is the area's only 5K race raising awareness and funds for SIDS research. The mission of Jude's Foundation is to raise funds to support SIDS research and to enrich the lives of children living in our community. Enrichment we know in our hearts sweet Jude would have provided if he were here.

There will be 5K and 1 Mile Fun Walk/Run events. Children 6 and under have free admission to either event. Check in starts at†7:30 a.m.†Both races begin promptly at†9 a.m.

To register online visit†https://runsignup.com/jogforjude. T-shirt to all who pre-register online by†April 1. The Overall Male and Female Champions will receive awards, along with the top male and female in each of the following age groups: 13 & Under; 14-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60 & Over. Questions, email†JudeZayacFoundation@gmail.com.

Following the race, please join the Zayac Family for a day of family fun with a Community Celebration featuring food and drink, basket raffles, face painting, a bounce house, DJ, a memorial balloon release, and more! This is a Rain or Shine event! All registrations are final and non-refundable. If for any reason you are unable to attend the event, your registration will be considered a donation to the charity.
